 Joann Ordille and I would like to invite you to give a Distinguished
Lecture as part of CRA-W's Distinguished Lecture Series at the
University of Utah.  The goal of the CRA-W is to take positive action
to increase the number of women participating in Computer Science and
Engineering research and education at all levels.  The Distinguished
Lecture Series (DLS) provides an opportunity for highly distinguished
women scholars to visit campuses across North America to give
technical talks (thereby increasing the visibility of women
researchers) and to meet with students to encourage women and
minorities to attend graduate school.

 The (one or two day) visits include a Distinguished Lecture (which we
are inviting you to give), as well as a variety of recruiting events:
lunches with female undergraduates, panel discussions about graduate
school (for all undergraduates) given by a panel of distinguished
women scholars, and meetings with female graduate students.
 The faculty and students of the University of Utah have selected you
as an ideal distinguished speaker.  Juliana Freire would be your host.
 Please let me know if you would be willing to participate in
DLS for this event.  If so, I'll put you in touch with Juliana to find 
a date that works for both your schedules.
